Briefly about the functionality of the add-on:

The add-on automates the routine of creating standard product combinations for the Buy together cheaper add-on. The generator mechanics allows you to specify the Main product (or several products) and Additional products, on the basis of which combinations of products with specified discount conditions will be created;
Adds new user interface for product combinations that sells more;
The module also adds a separate page for managing such combinations with a convenient search by combinations;
The add-on supports Multi-Vendor editions of the CS-Cart platform.

Why should you use add-on?

As you can see, this is not just a module for generating typical combinations, it is a whole combine that can:

increase sales in your store or marketplace;
will allow you to covertly dump, that is, to reduce the price offer for a combination of products, which is allowed by suppliers)
reduce the time spent on creating combinations, maintaining their relevance;

Ability to generate typical combinations by rules

Extends functionality of CS-Cart “Buy together”. Add-on adds generator of typical combinations as well as management page for these combinations. It saves resources of store administrator.

Selection of additional product in combination by user (provided 2 variants of selection view)

Add-on provides two interfaces of variants selection of additional products in combination. It helps to select the best and comfortable variant to display additional products. It helps user to select necessary product cozy and fast.

View variant “Vertical scroller” -- if there are some variants for additional products selection in combination, user can change appropriate additional product with arrows of vertical scroller.

View variant “Pop-up window” -- if there are some variants for additional products selection in combination, user can change appropriate additional product with clicking the button “Select products”. Then pop-up window will be opened with product variants for selection.

Support of Multi-Vendor edition

Add-on supports work for Multi-Vendor edition of CS-Cart platform. Thus, each vendor can create combinations for products of his own store. While main administrator can create product combinations for any store.

Add products into generator of combinations manually and on the bases of conditions

You can add products into combination with two modes of product selection:

Add with picker -- product selection from a list (i.e., selection of specific products with checkboxes);
Add with search -- product selection on the bases of conditions (i.e., selection of specific products with search conditions). Thus, when you select search conditions, products will be selected into combination. Furthermore, combination compound will be changed dynamically when products in search conditions are changed.

Multilingual support of product combinations

When creating/ editing combination template, you can place all content for all active languages without switching language content. It helps to save much time at work with multilingual content.

Management page for all combinations at the store

Add-on adds one page to manage product combinations. You can use search by base product, additional product or generator name. It helps to manage necessary combination in a shot time.

Required and unrequired additional products in package

When creating combination, you can specify characteristic of required selection for each additional product in combination.

With the use of checkbox user can select additional products that he wants to buy in a package with base product and which he wants to refuse. Now you don’t need to create a large number of combinations -- one combination can cover a large number of variants. It saves your time when creating combination and it allows user to select desired products package cozy and fast.

Ability to manage view of product combinations list

If there are two or more combinations at a product, you can select appearance of these combinations view:

Horizontal scroller -- switch among combination with scroller

List -- combination view on the product page one by one

Ability to fill in base and additional products in combination from relations of the add-on “AB: Intellectual selection of products in block”

When the add-on “AB: Intellectual selection of products in block” is active, a new type of product combination is available. This type of product combination allows to use products selection from the add-on “AB: Intellectual selection of products in block”. Thus, you can use already prepared product selections as accessories for more expensive products of your store.
